I got my treadmill just after the Christmas holidays for my home. I and my husband are in our 60′s. It is very heavy and we had a chore getting upstairs to where we had to put it. Keep that in mind when ordering. Also the manual is too vague, in my opinion, on how to maintain the treadmill. Even after reading the below keep in mind I am NOT unhappy with this machine I just have a few issues that I wanted to share.
After just a month the belt stopped in mid use. We called the 1-888-815-5559 customer service number and they said it sounded like a curcuit breaker went. They sent a new one for us to replace it with. It was a complete panel. The new one did not fit with the screws that came on the old one so we had to get longer screws. Also the original panel only had one black round cylinder (not sure what it was) and when the new panel came it had two. It was easy to replace and has worked for about 4 weeks.
The last time I used it I got an hour on the treadmill when the belt stopped again. This time we unplugged and plugged it back in and it started back up and is still working. We were told by the customer rep that we should have a surge protector and a designated outlet for the treadmill which was not mentioned in the manual and which we now have. The instructions tell you what needs to be done but does not give complete instructions. (example: lubricate deck and belt is one of the troubleshooting tips yet it doesnt’ tell you how or with what.)
